Install on your phone
The Workbench installs as an app from the browser — no App Store. iPhone and Android steps, and what installed mode does and doesn't include.
The Workbench is installable as an app straight from the browser — full-screen, its own icon, no App Store. Under the hood it's a PWA (progressive web app): the same product, wrapped in an app shell.
iPhone / iPad
- Open wb.cashflowengine.io in Safari (installing requires Safari).
- Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow).
- Tap Add to Home Screen, keep the name Workbench, tap Add.
The icon lands on your home screen; launching it opens the Workbench full-screen — no browser chrome, safe-area aware on notched iPhones — starting on the Strategy Browser.
Android
- Open wb.cashflowengine.io in Chrome.
- Menu (⋮) → Add to Home screen (on some devices: Install app).
- Confirm.
What installed mode is — and isn't
- It's the live Workbench. Same account, same data, always current — there's no separate app version to update.
- It needs a connection. There is deliberately no offline mode: stale cached numbers presented as current would be worse than a loading spinner.
- No push notifications currently.
- Signing in works exactly as in the browser; your session persists inside the installed app like it does in a browser tab.
If you use the Workbench on your phone with any regularity, install it — the full-screen layout is noticeably better than Safari with its toolbars, and the mobile-friendly tables were built for exactly this.
